With more than 25 years in the turf industry, Pat Wilson is a trusted leader in sustainable turf management. His career spans elite international venues including Wimbledon and the White House where he maintained President George W. Bush’s private golf green as well as major tournaments like the Presidents Cup and PGA Tour events.
As Superintendent at Pambula Merimbula Golf Club for the past 14 years, Pat has developed deep expertise in managing both warm and cool season turf under challenging coastal conditions. He’s known for his leadership in high performance teams and his ability to produce top tier playing surfaces with a sustainable edge.
Pat founded Sustainable Turf Management to offer practical, expert-driven turf solutions to clients across the Bega Valley and surrounding regions. His hands-on approach, commitment to environmentally responsible practices, and dedication to helping clients achieve long-term results are at the core of Sustainable Turf Management’s approach.
Turf Specialist
With over 18 years of experience in turf care and greenkeeping, Ky Hinson brings a wealth of practical knowledge and technical skill to Sustainable Turf Management. His background includes roles at Merimbula Imlay Bowling Club, Pambula Merimbula Golf Club, and Tura Beach Country Club, where he developed a strong foundation in turf maintenance, team leadership, and irrigation management.
Ky works across all aspects of turf care, with a particular focus on aeration, weed/pest control, and fertiliser application. He is known for his attention to detail, hands-on approach, and commitment to delivering high-quality results across residential, commercial, and sporting landscapes.
Ky plays a key role in expanding Sustainable Turf Management’s services throughout the region. He is passionate about healthy, sustainable turf and helping clients get the most from their green spaces.
